Sevastopol Historical Society

'There's no time like the present to preserve the past."

 Background and Membership

The SEVASTOPOL HISTORICAL SOCIETY, was established in 2011 and continues with its passion to collect and preserve the history of the community.  Past programs have packed the Sevastopol town hall to capacity and it is rewarding to know that so many of neightbors, relatives, and friends are interest in Sevastopol's stories.  We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and all donations are considered charitable contributions.  Our Society's mission is to keep our Sevastopol heritage and history alive for future generations.

Interested in becoming a member?  Our annual dues are quite reasonable--just $15 for individuals and $25 for the whole family.  Makes checks payable to the Sevastopol Historical Society and mail to P.O. Box 501, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235.  Question:  contact Linda Wait at 920-495-8129 or Don Rudolph at 920-493-4522.

Upcoming Programs:

We are also entertaining the idea of a Sevastopol "Road Trip" to video and photograph some of our homesteads, businesses and other community structures throughout the Town, perhaps incorporating 10 or 12 locations into each program.  Interested in putting your home, farm or business on the video?  And have some old-time photos and short history to go with?  Call Linda or Don at the phone numbers mentioned above.
